I cherish those days. Even I wish most of the present times to be as those days.

Since my childhood, I have never been much into screen time. Eventhough we had television, movies and radio, I was never into it. I was rather a book person. I used to experiment with cleaning my slate in order to make it better for writing. I used to paint and do craft works.

I had a mushroom nail board with which I used to create a lot of stuff. In that all mushroom nails were same size in different colours, whereas now multiple sizes are available in a kit. Sometimes I do knitting some patterns on that and undo it.

Apart from all these, major time was spent in reading books just like now.

My favorites for reading are short story books on Mulla, Tenali Raman and Siruvar malar (a weekly kids’ magazine) that comes along with the Dinamalar newspaper. That kids’ magazine has facts, stories, word puzzles, spot the difference and much more. Just remembering those while writing here makes me nostalgic. Good old days are good old days.
