MINDCAGE

Colourful and attractive

Primed for a flight

Detached of negative

Could fly in height

Could fly in sky

Could fly in night

Could fly in joy

Could fly in night

Could fly in deploy

Instead

Mind caged herself

To forget her wings

Consuming herself

FYI, I am not mind caged today. I wrote this poem as my response to the dVerse Quadrille challenge. Simple rules: A poem of 44 words is to be written and one word in it must be wings. You can also give it a try if you would like to take up the challenge.
