WWW WEDNESDAY #76

Sam is currently hosting WWW Wednesday from Taking On A World of Words. Last year I finished my targeted reading challenge but couldn’t update in my WWWs. I am hoping to keep a track of book reading and reviews this year from this week.

The Three Ws are:

  1. What are you currently reading?
  2. What did you recently finish reading?
  3. What do you think you’ll read next?

Currently reading:

I am reading this as the first parenting book of this year 2025. I have almost finished half the book. I am gaining lots of insights and looking into myself also regarding the changes required as a parent to take control over my screen dependencies. I would highly recommend for every parent with kids in digital age.

This book goes on more like a conversation with questioning and answering so far. I have read about 10% only but I am not sure if I would even continue reading this. I hoped to find only architectural content from this book. To my surprise, I found a degrading thought from the author which is highly disturbing. Many young architects choose to read to take inspiration from great architects. So one should write with that responsibility. Either such authors should not add in their values that’s irrelevant or think twice before normalizing a violence or rude social behaviors.

I remember the book name alone as I have studied in Tamil about the books Subramani Bharathi has written. Chandrigai the book name is the protagonist’s name. While the main plot goes around her life, the author has added up some other small stories and life morals in between.

Finished reading:

I haven’t finished reading any book this week.

Next on read list:

I am planning to dive a little into classic Tamil literatures and novels.
